Mark was recently asked in an interview with All Access Music Group about his thoughts on making music:

“The process of being in the studio with an artist, writing something completely original, and then laying it down is such a special and sacred thing that I really do cherish that this is what I get to do for a living. I’ve always had a romantic or even mystical view of what happens in the studio. My goal is to empower the artist and bring whatever skills I can to the table, whether it’s playing every instrument, or just being a reactive listener and approaching things minimally. I just try to ride the wave of the song and the moment and try to not get wiped out in the process!”

Easily jumping from different genres of popular music, Mark has a focused hand in the projects he is involved in, bringing skill, passion, but more importantly fostering an environment where the artists he works with can shine their brightest.
